 Established in 1897, Mt. Anthony Country Club is nestled in the green Mountains and it's located in the heart of Historic Old Bennington. The course has gone through a renovation under the direction of Golf Course Architect, A. John Harvey, of the RBA Group. The new changes take full advantage of the spectacular Green Mountain location and challenge players at every level. The restoration includes new shaping of bunkers and tee complexes. A systematic agronomic program continues in all existing grass areas, fairways and greens which results in a superb quality quality of the turf. Come and enjoy the new Mt. Anthony. The Pro Shop is stocked with the latest golf fashions and our new stylish golf wear featuring the Mt. Anthony Country Club logo and a great selection of golf equipment. In the comfortable, new Members Lounge, you can enter your GHIN card information, get a cup of coffee, or catch up on the latest golf tournament on a new flat-screen television while you wait for your golf partners.

Staff
 Douglas A. Ruttle, our PGA Professional comes to us from New Hampshire, after 20 years as a member of the managing and teaching golf staff at The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in Dixville Notch. He is a member of the Professional Golfer's of America since 1998.
"It was time for me to get back to the game, and the relationships with the great people who play golf. Although the resort business offered many rewards personally, I found myself moving ever farther from the game of golf. I am very happy to be part of the Mt. Anthony Country Club team!"
Doug comes to us with a strong resume in the areas of golf management and golf instruction.
"I truly believe that everyone has an element of their game that they excel at. But sometimes it takes a second pair of eyes to help define the area that needs improvement. I use a low impact, interactive approach to golf instruction. The goal is to create a self-aware student, who can define and think their way into a stronger all-around player"

 Leo Reynoldsis a Life Member of the PGA of America. He has been a PGA golf professional in Vermont for the past 43 years. He served as the head golf professional at Mt. Anthony Country Club from 1983 to 1998. He was the first golf professional at the Manchester Country Club and also served as the head professional at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes.
For the past 11 years Leo has dedicated his career to teaching golf. He is known as "Coach and Advisor to Golfers of all Abilities. " Leo teaches golfers of all ages and has performed numerous clinics, seminars,and playing lessons. His students include current L.P.G.A. Tour professional Libby Smith and many top amateurs and college players.
Leo has been a very active member of the PGA . He has served as vice president of the New England PGA, has served as president of the Vermont PGA on 5 different occasions and was the chairman of the Vermont PGA Scholarship committee for 20 years. He has been named Vermont Professional of the year 6 times.
